Where you're from says a lot about you...

I'm from Tooele County Utah.
The thriving metropolis of Stansbury Park, to be exact.
It's one of those places that when people find out where you're from, they give a very distinct look... Kind of like this:

Now I know that it's out in the middle of no where and I know that it doesn't have the best school systems or the best reputations... but there are some really great things about it too.

Right?

Like creativity. No one can say that people from Tooele aren't creative.

Because we are.

(when you only have wal-mart to go to on the weekends you have to be)

This creativity has lended itself many great dates...

where we dressed as super heroes

or built cardboard boats

or had nerf wars

It has also lended itself to a creativity in game creation.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the latest in Tooele county creativity and the reason that 3 of the 4 of us are still single: this game.

You see, we find this to be fun.

Like, "we think we are hilarious" kind of fun. (:

Twinkling.

Meet two of my friends:
Austin and Daniel.


They're two of the best people I've ever met. Ever.

Not to mention, they have so much going for them.  They sing. They play instruments. They're athletic...
"So why are they single?" you're likely asking.

I'm about to tell you.

It's called dycling (d-why-ca-ling).
Or tandem-one-biking.
Or twinkling. (They twinkle across campus ^_^)

Maybe I should just show you:

Don't worry... they come back.

Can you see why it's a little difficult to come up with a name?

They're convinced it'll be an olympic sport one day.
I'm not quite as confident... but we'll see (:

Exhibit B: Eating -- not for the faint of heart

I'm the healthiest person you will ever meet.
I only eat well balanced meals.
I do yoga and make myself a protein shake every morning before work.

False.

Eating in college is hard.
Real hard.

I know, I know I should be practicing my cooking skills for when I have a family one day, but let's be honest, who wants to spend a million and a half hours and dollars on cooking a giant dinner for yourself...
Then again, who wants to risk a life of malnutrition on a girl who eats a 5 pound bag of Tyson chicken nuggets, 36 poptarts, and 7 cans of pringles all by herself.

Okay so most people enjoy dancing.
But I feel like I enjoy it more than most people.

And I'm not gonna lie y'all.
I'm real good.

I am obsessed with taking ugly pictures of myself and plaguing people with them.

This could be the start of something new...

So the idea for this blog started when Bekah and I were talking to members of our singles ward bishoprics and they told us they couldn't believe we were still single...
That got us wondering.
Why on earth are we still single? Just look at us!

Who in their right mind would not want to drive us straight to the jewelry store to pick up a wedding ring?

So we've decided to start brainstorming some ideas.
